I found this video on ABC News, not only helpful, but extremely timely.
It discusses the question of whether running during pregnancy is safe.
One of our physical therapists, Barbara Fallon-Wallace is in her 6th month of pregnancy AND is also a competitive runner. There are 3 key points to take away from the video:
1. Being active, especially during pregnancy, is always better than choosing to be inactive.
2. Active women recover faster, post-pregnancy than less active women.
3. Pregnancy is not a disease, merely a condition. You are healthy, so work to remain healthy.
